Why You Shouldn’t Blindly Copy and Paste from ChatGPT
Just because you can ask ChatGPT to write your Social Media posts doesn’t mean you should!
If you don’t know what you’re doing and you aren’t a seasoned marketer… you will get found out very quickly.
And the problem with copying and pasting content from ChatGPT is that when people start to notice…
YOU UN-DO ALL YOUR CREDIBILITY AND TRUST with your audience and people will see you as a fraud and will start to ignore your posts.
Now, don’t get me wrong…
I love ChatGPT and AI and I use it to ASSIST me in creating some of my content…
But the key word there is “ASSIST“.
- Use it to help you get ideas for content…
- Use it to help you get the structure for your content…
- Use it to come up with a framework for your content…
- Use it to come up with a Call to Action for your content…
But DO NOT use it to write entire posts for you… unless you know what you are doing.
I know it’s tempting… but it will do you more harm than good in the long term.
Guaranteed!
Watch This 60 Second Video I Recorded About Copying & Pasting
Take a look at these TWO (2) posts I saw on Facebook recently…
Social Media Post 1
Social Media Post 2
They look pretty similar don’t they?
- They are formatted the same.
- The number icons are similar.
- They have 2-4 hashtags at the end.
- They have specific emojis.
- They have big, blocky paragraphs.
- They use fairly big words and are not written conversationally.
- And more
I can spot them a mile away…
And chances are, your writing style is very different to the way ChatGPT writes. So if you go from writing your own posts to copying and pasting with ChatGPT then people will spot it a mile away!
BE CAREFUL.
Your business and reputation is on the line!
Let Me Know Your Thoughts?
Have you seen any ChatGPT posts on social media or on blogs etc?
Do you think you could spot them?
Do you do it yourself?
As always, I’m interested in your thoughts.
